Water's Mystical Power

No one knows how long humankind has sought health through waters. Spas, baths, and jacuzzis aren't modern devices. The search for the "fountain of youth" was an ancient one long before Ponce se Leon. A man who was lame from birth waited over thirty years beside the pool until Jesus healed him. As with every other form of therapy, water helps some but not others. Nevertheless, I believe that more may be helped by water than any other method.

A book in our library published in the 1960s (Healing With Water by Jeanne Keller, Parker Publishing Co.) states that most every illness can be healed by cold water applications. Compresses, sprays, baths, sponges. The author says that the method not only heals but also immunizes. An M.D. states in the Foreword that no one in the author's family ever needed the attention of a physician. Having learned years ago that there is never one cause or one cure for anything, I wonder if Mrs. Keller's Treatments weren't aided by her own magnetic healing hands. Water and its natural properties plus mentally directed magnetic impulses form a powerful combination for healing.

A surprisingly large number of the "miracles" described in the Bible occurred on or near water. In the Old Testament there was creation itself; the flood; the Dead Sea was parted; Moses struck the rock and water poured forth; Elisha caused an axe head to float to the surface of a stream.

In the New Testament, disciples were gathered by the Sea of Galilee; Jesus was baptized in the Jordan; He turned water into wine, healed beside the pool, walked on water, calmed the stormy sea, taught from a boat, and gave instructions on catching a huge quantity of fish. The fish itself became one of the secret signs among His followers.

He counseled the woman at the well and told her that "...whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." Surely a teaching about the ever flowing electromagnetic energies of a higher life.
