Mind and Substance

Mind is Substance. It is fluid rather than solid. It penetrates solid substance just as water saturates a piece of wood. It affects the atomic structure of all substances below it in the vibrational scale.

Just as water, on the physical level only, is one of the most powerful of all forces, so mind is a powerful force on all levels with which it has an affinity---the physical, etheric, emotional and mental. It shares influence on the psychic level with the higher spiritual level.

Each level of consciousness has its own relationship with each level of life and being. There's a level of your mind which is directly connected with the physical level of your being, another with your emotional level, and so on. The spiritual level of your mind affects (and functions harmoniously with) the spiritual energies in your life. If your mind isn't spiritually oriented, spiritual energies won't function well in your life. The spiritual orientation of consciousness isn't necessarily related to church membership!

Even the lowest forms of life have their mental and spiritual aspects, as yet but partially awakened.

Nevertheless, a plant responds to healing ministrations directed to it by the human mind.

One of the best ways to practice the art of

healing is to assemble a supply of sick

plants and direct healing energies to them

regularly. Or work with domestic pets.
